Jasmine Keilani is a civil litigation attorney who practices in the areas of trust and probate litigation, business litigation, and real estate litigation. Jasmine previously practiced personal injury law, where she successfully advised and defended clients in a variety of first-party and third-party matters, primarily involving insurance coverage litigation, developing a strong foundation in case strategy, client advocacy, and courtroom practice.
Prior to entering private practice, Jasmine served as a Contract Attorney with the San Diego Office of County Counsel. In that role, she regularly represented county hospitals in contested mental health court proceedings, including evidentiary hearings involving direct and cross-examination of physicians and patients in writ and conservatorship matters. She also worked with the County’s civil litigation team, defending civil claims against the County and assisting with appellate briefing before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Jasmine earned her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Timothy Taylor and the Honorable Judge Richard Whitney of the San Diego Superior Court, where she assisted in drafting several of the Court’s tentative rulings, and gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making and complex civil litigation matters.
In addition to her practice, Jasmine is deeply committed to professional and community involvement. She is the Vice-President and Co-Founder of the Arab American Bar Association of San Diego and serves on the Board of Directors for the San Diego chapter of the Network of Arab American Professionals.
